Campground Questions

Q: Does your campground permit pets?

Yes! We welcome your dogs to the park during your stay with us. Please be prepared to show proof of inoculation records for your pets.

Q: Is Lake Wisconsin Campground a seasonal-only park?

While we are a primarily a seasonal campground, we do have a small number of transient sites available for guests who want to join us short-term. Please visit our Overnight Camping page for more information!

Q: Do you have lake access?

Yes we do! Our access to the lake is limited to small fishing boats, kayaks, and canoes. HOWEVER, there is a free public boat landing across the street and we have some trailer parking available at the campground.

Q: Are you open in the winter?

Yes we are; however, we shut off water to the sites Oct 1 – April 15. Our shower houses are heated and open year-round.

Booking Questions

Q: When are our seasonal payments due?

Please contact our office at (608) 469-6677 for information about our seasonal site billing structure.

Q: What if I have to cancel my reservation?

Though we hope you don’t, if you do need to cancel your stay with us, cancellations made 30 days or more prior to your arrival date will receive a refund MINUS one night of your total booking amount. Cancellations made fewer than 30 days prior to your arrival date will not receive a refund.

There are also no refunds for cancellations of reservations made during holiday weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July & Labor Day).

Q: Do you offer cottage rentals?

No, we do not have cottages/cabins for rent.
